What good fight? Trying to convince someone to never buy an Intel again? You are what I would call a hypocrite, you bash Intel fans about their undying loyalty to Intel, but what are you doing? Same thing, just replace the word Intel with AMD.

I will not fight to prove one chip better than the other. I always choose which processor will give the best performance, and sometimes it is Intel, othertimes AMD. yes thats the good fight intel sucks and dude beware of what you say cause i'll find you :twisted:

9 inch you were doing a nice job presenting your information but when people like dvdpiddy get involved they ruin it. I don't care who has the best chip, I buy the best because I want the best end of story.

There's no point in saying one is always better then the other. Just remember every statement made can be twisted and turned in any way to make another side look good or bad. It’s one of the great things about an argument. That’s why you have to look at it from an overall standpoint. Are they prejudiced…eh could be a lot worse…

Seriously...I totally agree. I would buy whichever chip performs better for the price depending on the type of PC I am building. Whether it be AMD or Intel makes no difference to me.

Anyone that relies on one web site or one article for information on a purchase isn't making an informed decision anyway.

While I am encouraged by Conroe's performance, I also will take a wait and see approach as neither chip is available on the market. Here's looking to a good year. :!:

I whole heartedly concur. The same applies to people that choose to go to fast food joints all the time and they complain they are getting fat. They will also claim that the food should be more healthy; since when has rotten potatoes that have sat in 300* lard been healthy? No one told them to get that triple patty sumbeesh, they could have gotten a salad which in some cases actually tastes better. These are the same people that insist that guns kill people, and people don't. Oh and we also don't need a military.

It's obvious that PDiddy wannabe doesn't go far back with regards to these talks and doesn't realize that within most markets like these, that it will usually always flip and flop. See ATI/Nvidia - AMD/Intel and see their market performance. History and math should be your guide to these markets, not technological breakthroughs. Well 9-inch, it looks like you selectively pulled a comment from this article to try and prove the Tom's is biased towards intel. You totally ignored other things in the text that say otherwise. This is called "spin".

So does that make 9-inch the New Fanboy Spin doctor?........all you fan boys and flame artists need to grow up and act your age. It really becomes anoying coming on to these forums and seeing everyone verbally destroying eachother. why can't there be normal discussion where you agree to disagree? as for dvd, his halirously bad lies make me laugh long into the day. an ip address isnt hard to get, and it cant tell where you live unless you write your address on ur computer or somthing. i love how he says "he showed me how to do a lot of illegal stuff, but i cant tell or id be ban" once again makes me laugh and further proves how retarded this kid is... maybe we should be complaining about dvd getting ban instead of 9-inch..
