Hello,
My computer is three years old and is still using all original parts (Except a graphics card and ssd upgrade). I was wondering the other day if there are any benefits to upgrading the motherboard and cpu and if it has a major impact on performance.

Solution
No you dont need to upgrade now. Your cpu is good, ram is ok... If you want more performance you need buy a graphics card... You dont need spend money in new cpu and motheboard. Do it on an good GPU.
Sorry, I thought it was in there.
Here they are:
Intel Core i5-3570 Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz
8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866(PC3 14900)

GIGABYTE LGA 1155 Intel Z77 Motherboard
Western Digital WD Green 500GB
Windows 10 Professional

This is why you don't post when tired. I forgot another part! I do have a graphics card actually. It's the EVGA GTX Geforce 760

Perfect! That gpu is strong... I have the 770 :)
