Motherboard and CPU

Hello, I just recently had to buy a new motherboard and I'm not sure if one of my cpus will fit on the board. I would really appreciate some help as I only used intel in my hole life, but I made some changes now. I swapped my Ati Card for a Geforce, My Intel CPU for an AMD. So the question is..

CPU: AMD ATHLON 64 X2 5000 2.6GHz Dual-Core Processor Hyper Transport Tehcnology with UP TO 2000MHz System Bus.
