hi guys,

sorry about this but i am always trying to find a way to save some money and i have come across motherboard bundles with the 3 things i was going to upgrade, i was originally going to get a cpu, motherboard and rams. i was going to get corsair rgb 16gb ram (£80 to £100), i5 11400 (£160) and asrock b560m pro 4 (£120). as you can see all that comes to £380 and i only have £300.

question is can anyone recommend a motherboard bundle around that price, the main thing i want is argb headers and a reasonable big difference to my set up which is:

Mainboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme 4
Processor: Intel i5 4570S 2.90GHz
Memory: Kingston Hyper Beast 16GB PC3-12800
GPU 1: nVidia GeForce GTX 480
Power: Corsair CX600 Modular
Case: typhoo pro
Hard Disk: Seagate 1TB
ssd: 256gb
hard disk: 2tb

many thanks

many thnaks, just trying to buy everything in 1 shop, that bottom link is for micro. i went and tried to find the atx version and it was out of stock.

would this be ok?

i understand it is 90 pound out of my budget but i will just have to pay bit more so i can have the things tomorrow.
That Asus board is about as good as it gets, especially if you ever plan on turning off your power limiter and going balls to the walls with that cpu.

If you want to save a few quid here's another board worth having a look at.

as you can see, i have put them all in basket and about to buy but m/b is out of stock, if i can find another one like the asrock i linked then im good to go i think. went bit too mad of buying though

If you don't plan on getting a graphics card anytime soon then I'd recommend the i5 11500 seeing how it has better integrated graphics vs the i5 11400 due to the fact it has more EU's (32 vs 24).

just had a quick look on benchmark for them 2 cpu, the 11400 beats the 11500 in power wise though. i still have my gpu that i use to plug to tv/monitor so i can do that instead cant i?

are you saying that cpu is no good with that motherboard?

thank you but the motherboard you linked does not have any argb header.

I'm saying that Asus board you linked is about as good as it gets.
sorry, i didnt understand 'balls to the walls' comment. sounded bad.

i have now added that asus board to the basket but do you know if the ram i chose will be compatible?

i tried finding the motherbaord on thsi site:

https://pangoly.com/en/browse/motherboard/msi?page=6

but the motherboard is not on there so i cant check if it fits

how does this look?
