motherboard died, getting a new one

my motherboard died the other day, probably my fault (cleaned the PC, day after mobo is dead) and I can't find where I bought it (I live in Israel and from what I understand the place I got it from is responsible for the warranty), the bank is my only hope but it takes 3-45 days to give me the information of transactions from a year ago.

so I'm probably just gonna get a new mobo, I had a gigabyte gaming 5, so this really sucks.

I have an i5 4690k, so a LGA 1150 socket, two 1866hz ddr3 8gb sticks, rx 470, seasonic g 650w. do you need anything more for compatibility?

in term of features, I don't really plan to OC, Cross fire would be really useful and a type-c connector but it's not critical at all. from what I understand all the "GAMING" stuff don't really matter. I would really want a good sound chipset since I have HD 600s but not a good audio setup

budget wise, I want it to be on the cheaper side, getting the same mobo is probably too expansive,

Hello... 1) Did you try re-placing your MB battery and/or clearing your CMOS memory?
2) Your MB is painted with brand, model, revision, serial #, etc on it... and I would typically RMA it to Gigabyte, using the information printed on the MB... and not the retailer. Enter the serial # on the Gigabyte RMA site, and their records will give you a clear fast answer for warranty repair/replacement options, for your existing MB.

how about the asrock pro 3 or pro 4? the one you offered isn't available in my country

from what I've seen, RMA is US/Canada only

the PC powers up, lights turn on (including mobo), fans spin, but doesn't post and peripherals (mouse and keyboard) don't turn on

A VRM with more phases can supply cleaner power, and more power, all things being equal. A better VRM is always recommended for general use, and it's an absolute requirement for safe and stable overclocking.

Your mouse and keyboard will be on the PS/MB/USB +5Vdc voltage circuit... re-check your RED wires and Power connections.
