Question Motherboard does not have wifi.

I am about to travel and I am taking my PC. The motherboard is a Prime B450M-A II and it does not come with wifi. I have an rtx 3070 installed and it covers the PCIE Slot. I am wondering if something like this will give wifi connection.

Yup, doesn't even have to be that fancy.

Make sure that you have your AV (and such) protections as well as the space between your ears set 'high'. Public WiFi can be a risk.

Might consider using a mobile hotspot solution.

Thank you for the reply, I am travelling to a family friends however their guest bedroom is across the house from the router so ethernet was a no-go. Security shouldn't be much of a concern. I appreciate the help

if your MB comes with a pcie x1 slot you can install a pcie card.
if not a wifi dongle is your only soultion . .

so WIFI card has got cable and you can put antenna on your desk to catch a better signal.
or buy the card you wanted to buy but add USB extension like:
