I cannot download the mobo drivers for my new PC. I've got the MSI Z270 Mobo and i7 7700k CPU however my CPU isn't compatible with the mobo drivers. I was wondering if there is anyway around this.

Hi jiggzo

Only kaby lake Beta driver is available for Win7. The official driver if using Win7/8.1 operating system only supports upto Skylake (6700k)

Msi has included a Beta driver for Win7, don't know why probably they somehow know theres people running Win7 on these new boards which i think is silly.

Anyhow, for Win10 64bit (Check you've installed 64Bit and not 32Bit Windows) the official driver should support Kaby Lake.

See here; https://www.intel.com.au/content/www/au/en/support/articles/000005566/graphics-drivers.html

https://ca.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z270-PC-MATE.html#down-driver&Win10%2064
If you go to that above link and go down to the on-board VGA drivers you can see that it only supports a kaby lake CPU.

Note: I've downloaded those drivers and when I try to run it it says "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software."
