I sold my Ryzen 5 5600G system and am now in the market for one based on an 8600G. For the motherboard, I've tentatively chosen the Asus EX-B650M-K7 which is available in my country for the equivalent of about US$105. Can you suggest anything else in the same price range?

My requirements are:
USB 3.2 Gen 2 - (for an external NVMe adaptor)
Two M.2 slots, both at least 4x4 - (I already have the drives)
4 RAM slots - (this is where the EX-B650M-K7 falls short, but I can live with 2 slots)

Notes: I'm not a gamer and my computing needs are modest. My favourite CAD program, which I use every day, is so old that it ran fine under Windows 98 on an Athlon XP with 64MB of RAM. My current Phenom II x4 970 with a GTX 950 is still perfectly adequate, but I just feel like getting a more modern setup.

For the sake of relevance and context, we'll need to know;
1| where is this country on an Atlas?
2| your budget for your motherboard?
and
3| your preferred site for purchase?

Brand and product availability can and will vary with regards to region, so in order for us to provide a worthwhile suggestion we'll need to know the above. This site is based in the USA as is most of it's userbase. If you're not located in the USA, then providing sites to products/brands you have access to helps us two fold.

If you're looking to build in a small form factor chassis, perhaps an matx chassis(judging from the M designation in the Asus board listed above) then please state the case you're looking at/you've chosen.

Please include a list of all tasks that you'll be taxing the system with and a list of app's that will be run on proposed system.

You might want to think about looking at a B850 chipset board with something that has BIOS FlashBack/Q-Flash Plus/FlashBIOS, IMHO.
