Question Motherboard has oil red spot ?

motherboard has red dot could this be a burn mark or something bad?

Hard to say what it is.

Could be some substance came into contact with the conformal coating on the MB that it reacted to.

Could also be a hot spot although it really doesn't look like that. I mean, maybe, but hard to tell really from that image.

The chip seems to be out of alignment?

If so, the red mark might be sign of a soldering work on that chip.

Or it's just a piece of rubber?

Take another picture from a little further away and maybe at a bit more of an angle where the light isn't glaring on it so much.
