Question Motherboard not reading GPU - getting white light

A few months ago I upgraded to an RTX 4060 from a 1070. After a few days my monitors would lose signal a few minutes after boot, but the problem was fixed by reseating and dusting my connections. 3 months later, my monitors randomly lose signal almost immediately after powering on. I swapped in my old 1070 and it worked fine, and I updated my BIOS and graphics drivers. Swapped the 4060 back in (including between different pcie slots) and now it doesn’t display any signal at all and I just get a white light on my MB. The fans however still spin so I know it’s getting power.

My only guess is that my power supply is worn out. It has more than enough capacity but it is 5 years old with quite a few hours.

Any advice on how to fix this is appreciated, thank you.

ASUS STRIX ROG B450-M

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060

Corsair CX650M Power supply

In theory, 650w is enough-ish for the system but a poor or worn out unit may not deliver enough juice no matter what it's stated wattage is.
I'm not so sure it's the power supply, as that one is not a crap unit but it is getting near it's end of warranty or is out of warranty by now. Either way, you want a reliable, 7y+ warranty PSU so you should upgrade.

Something like a Corsair RM750e? Good and not too pricy.
