Motherboard problem with ssd plugged in

Ok so I just built my first pc,when I tried to boot it up,the light on the motherboard flashed then turned off.I disconnected the power from my ssd then the light stayed on.How do I fix this?

What are your specs ? What is the issue ? I think just because a light on the motherboard goes on than goes off doesnt mean anything is wrong. Are you able to install a OS ? Did you look at the light and see what it is ? We need full specs please ?
