Motherboard Q code

Hello.
I'm having problem with my PC. Its shutting down randomly, specially i think while gaming. After shut down, i get 76 or 77 q code error. Sometimes clearing cmos solves it sometimes doesn't. I have checked the CPU and socket for any bends, i have done memtest with no error, i took my graphic card out still same problem, unplugging hard disk and SSD not helping either. Checked PSU, looks stable but have not checked while load. Please help im really worried and just so you know this is not a new pc.
EDIT: I just saw this that when i press the start button on MB, light flashes then turns off and then turn the system on.

cooler master 212x
samsung evo 850 ssd
WD blue 1tb HHD

Doing a quick Google search has come up with weird results- some people were able to resolve the same issue by switching their display cable and others had a shorting issue. Have you tried breadboarding your build and seeing if that helps?

its chipset initialisation error, which means that the error is comming from your mainboard.
try to reset cmos or update bios, if it remains, then remove your GPU, all sata cables, use 1 ram dimm, check for cpu socket for damaged pins, check for any short-circuit points.

otherwise replace mainboard

I have tried using another cable but didnt help have not tried breadboarding. I'll give it a shot.

I took everything out from the casing. Used motherboard, psu, cpu, cpu fan and 1 ram. It still gives me 76 error and i also tried switching the ram and ram slots but sometimes the error doesnt show up and it runs fine. And now i have assembled it again and when i play games, it restarts, give me 77 error and after i press the restart button it boots fine. Please help.

Yes the problem started recently, it was working fine before. I bought everything new i think a year ago.

Have you attempted contacting ASUS directly? It is a peculiar situation so perhaps they have encountered it before.

my guess is its a motherboard power delivery issue. as your computer grows old, its electronic components gets a fair amount of wear and tear, especially so if you're a heavy gamer. components such as capacitors, solder points, vrms, etc. gets worn out. if it's under warranty i'd send it in for a checkup.

try a new cmos battery too
