i am going to upgrade my pc with a new build what motherboards do you recomend i am trying to make it cheap but not the cheapest i still want good quality

i was thinking about £100 on the motherboard. at the moment i have a p4 2.66 ghz qith 1 gig of ram. It's just to slow for me now i thought it's about time i put my has in my pocket and started to upgrade. What i am planing to do is a total new build once i have my motherboard.

Gigabyte P35-DS3R or, if you want to put some more money elsewhere in your PC, Gigabyte P35-DS3L. If you plan on using a Yorkfield CPU (45nm Quad), you will need another CPU to flash BIOS first.

which exact CPU, what type of RAM & gfx card (AGP/PCI-E) do you have?
You may well have to replace all 3 & if so I would recommend saving up to do it all at once rather than piecemeal.

I am currently using a gigabyte ex-38-ds4 and it booted my x3350 xeon fine. I have heard that their EP35 series will work straight from the box.
