Motherboard says it only supports a few CPUs from Socket FM1, is this correct?

I was given an used PC from a friend and it containted this motherboard: http://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c02966470

On the site, it says that the motherboard only supports a few specific CPUs from the FM1 Socket (under "Processor upgrade information").

Is this correct, and can I not put a different CPU, e.g. the Athlon II X4 641, into the motherboard, since they are both FM1 Socket, and the 641 has a TDP that is supplied by the motherboard?

That's always iffy on OEM boards. Their bios likely only supports the cpus listed.
