Motherboard support IDE cable

Does anyone know if the Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P motherboard supports IDE cables because I can't seem to find one on it?

All that you would need to do is buy a little converter that you can plug onto the back of your drive so that you can plug the sata cable into the hard drive
