Hello, I'm trying to build a computer and the best fitting motherboard that's currently available from local dealers for this setup doesn't seem to be compatible with Win8.1 but is compatible with both Win7 and Win10 (there's chipset downloads for both of the later but none of the former on the manufacturer's website). I'm wondering how that's even possible and if it can cause actual problems.
The motherboard in question is an ASUS PRIME B450M-A, here's the official downloads page: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/PRIME-B450M-A/HelpDesk_Download/
Thank you.
