HI All

I havnt built a computer in about 5 years. I notice alot of cases dont have drive bays any longer. Im planning on buying either a asus or msi motherboard. Do these companys provide a flash drive to provide the software and updates for their boards or do you have to have a external cd rom drive?

thanks

They do NOT provide USB's (as far as I know), they still provide DVD's.
My ASUS ROG Strix B450-F allows for BIOS updates via the net from within the BIOS.
Personally I would NOT do that.
I always use a bootable USB to flash my BIOS.
I personally still use a DVD drive so if I bought a new case I would almost certainly find one that does have a 3.5" front bay (they do still exist).
