motherboard's problem?

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
BIOSTAR TForce4SLI 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD
Antec TRUEPOWERII TPII-550 ATX12V 550W Power Supply
EVGA 256-P2-N516 GeForce 7800GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI
Western Digital Caviar SE WD800JD 80GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

This is my first homebuilt computer for gaming, about one year ago. I got it during the summer and had lot of heat problem and installed a WC. It solved the problem, but the price was high, I lost a GPU. Recently, my computer is acting funning. It usually happened during the winter time, the computer won’t boot when I push the power button. Later I realize, after I push the power button, I have to wait for like a half of hour to push again for it to boot. Sometimes, if I push the power button too many times, when it boots up half hour later, it will continue to restart itself, this continuous for like for a couple of months. And now it won’t boot again T_T. It won’t respond to the power button, no beep or anything. However there is one red light on the motherboard is lighting the whole time, indicates VGA error. Even when I installed a different video card it, it still won’t responds.
I tried to clear the comso, that didn’t works.
I tried to kick it, that didn’t works
I tried to kiss it, that didn’t works
So anything idea? Anyone?

Have you tried talking to it? OK, it probably won't work either, but at least it will be entertaining for anyone watching.

If it works OK during the summer and not during the winter, (I'm really guessing here) could it be either a very slow water leak or condensation on the water-block?

of course I did, we're all civil in here. Just it doesn't talk back to me. Then I stared kicking and screaming :lol:
anyway you might just have the right guess, since it is the only thing can be effected by temperature. since I already check out the video card, that only leave to cpu, it scares me that if my cpu got damaged. but why did the motherboard indicate it's the vga problem?

update,
I heard that PSU sometimes can supply with a little energy just enought to light up the motherboard, so I check my PSU by connected the black and green wire, well the WC and fans did pulmps and spin pretty good.
I also tried to moving around the sticks, no luck.
At last I uninstalled the WC, replace all the Water blocks w/ heatsink and fans, and also check for leaks. no luck.

however I did discover that my motherboard was set on SLI the whole time, while I was only using a single GPU. coulde that be the problem?
