Question Motorola Router Blocking Website

I've literally tried everything with my Motorola Router AC1900, recently it started blocking certain websites. I've gone through releasing and renewing the ip address, reaching out to xfinity, powering off the router, checking proxy settings, and checking whatever else settings. I have no idea how to fix it, xfinity does nothing. I'm out of options, does anyone have any clue to fix it?

i don't see how your router alone could "block" any sites.

it's possible that there could be some firmware updates that have recently excluded known pirating or other sites that have been flagged for illegal content.
but, i've never seen such a thing.

this would likely either be just direct protocol of the ISP related to those sites,
someone on the property using some sort of parental controls/restrictions,
some security/VPN/etc software running in the background,
or possibly some browser settings.

what exact sites are you having trouble reaching?
and can you reach them when only using phone data, bypassing the router and the ISP provider?

I can only access from my phone when the wifi is turned off. I can't purchase any tickets from ticketmaster is one website and another is the shop store on a pro wrestling website.

I checked the router settings and there are no parental controls or restrictions in oplace and there is no VPN software that is running and the browser settings aren't the case since I can go to the websites from my phone.

This the error message I see from one of the sites:

Access Denied​

You don't have permission to access "http://shop.wwe.com/" on this server.

I would start by DISABLING IPv6 on your laptop. Force everything to be IPv4.

I've tried all of that as well. I also get the same error on my cellphone when connected to wifi so it makes me believe it's not a browser / proxy issue and something with the network.
 
Just that one modem/router in your network.

No other modems or routers - correct?

And the laptop is connecting wirelessly - correct?

No change with IPv6 disabled - noted.

Run "ipconfig /all" again and the "arp -a".

Post the results.

Also post 2 or 3 more of the "Access Denied" messages if possible.

I think it's blocked as well, it appeared on the sorbs site but they said it shouldn't affect website issues. I have no idea?

Comcast won’t change the public IP. I did the renew / release route but it does nothing.
 
Any website can use any blacklist.

When I traveled overseas, I can't even visit Homedepot. I can only use VPN to visit the site.

Call Xfinity and ask them to give you a new IP. If they won't, then use Cloudflare WARP, it's easy and it's free. No registration required.

renew / release only affect your PC, not your router.

Your original error suggests that you are able to get to some server.
You can use a cmd.exe window and the nslookup program to verify WHAT server. If your DNS is bad that could be an issue. The nslookup allows you to specify what DNS server IP address to use. So you can compare your default DNS to google for example.
Here is what google DNS says

Attempting to access from a browser, chrome, edge, safari. They all give me the error on my laptop, hard wired, and on my cell phone. I can access the sites on my regular data. I was trying to get more access denied messages but the only one is the shop website and ticketmaster thinks I'm a bot. I've cleared the cache, changed DNS servers, and still getting the same error.

I can access everything just fine through cloudflare warp and a different vpn.
