Mounting drive to location other than /media in Ubuntu 18 for plex

I'm a new linux user that's taken the leap away from Windows. Running Ubuntu 18. I've searched the forums and not found an answer to my question, although it's probably here somewhere.

I don't understand how to mount a drive to a location other than /media. This seems to be where newly mounted drives (via Disks gui) and drives connected directly to the mobo auto mount. I'm needing to mount a second SSD away from /media due to this guide on changing the location of the plex metadata directory.

I'm missing a lot in my linux skills and am getting lost reading through articles found on Google. I feel like I'm missing something basic but important. Can anyone help me with this?

Solution
What have you learned so far? What have you done so far? Did you want the SSD to be auto-mounted on boot up?

Here is one thing to read up on:

This is a helpful guide. Thank you!

Plex support has also jumped in this but the guide you posted has great explanations. I'll come back to this thread after working with Plex Support more today. As long as everything works out as I hope, I'll mark your response as the answer to this question.

Again... thanks for your help.
