Help if you can please. I've recently updated from 7 to 8.1 (via 8 to keep settings) and am having issues where occasionally my mouse clicks will not register. And now I am having issues with my keyboard inputting odd choices of characters when typing. Example: I was in chrome trying to scroll and the scroll wheel was zooming not scolling. Or in command prompt about a minute after that the keyboard was sending the wrong keys such as when I typed "control" I would get something like "^o^n^t^o^l". I looked online and did not find any fixes for this issue. Any suggestions?

My hardware:

Logitech g600
sharkoon Skiller keyboard
Razer Kraken game pad
some random logitech wireless mouse

Solution
This seems quite odd, it seems like if you had a key pressed while you are scrolling or typing on on keyboard.

Follow this steps:

1.- If you have any gaming Mouse or Keyboard make sure you don't have any macro running.

2- Type the following command:

Ctrl+R

This should open the Run dialog.

3.- Then type in:

cmd

now the Command Prompt window should appear.

4.- Type in the CMD:

devmgmt

this should bring up the Device Manager window.

5.- Navigate within the Device Manager window to the Mouse and Keyboard category and click the dropdown arrow and locate your Mouse and Keybord.

6.- Right click on your Mouse or Keyboard and select "Uninstall", you must uninstall the devices you are having issues with.

7.- Restart your computer...
