I recently built a new PC but I'm having a problem. My mouse and keyboard won't work while I'm at the windows screen , but when I'm at the Bios they work. I've been looking for a solution but never found one please help.

Well is it a wired mouse and keyboard? If so it should be working also make sure that your USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 if you have any is plugged in correctly. Also if you are using a wireless mouse and keyboard make sure you sync them correctly their usually is a sync button on the mouse and keyboard along with the USB to make it wireless that hooks into the USB slot.

My mouse and keyboard are wired I tried unplugging and plugging back in nothing worked. I'm sure I'm plugging it in the right ports because they work when I'm at the Bios but not on windows as I mentioned.

There are numerous threads covering that problem already, you should have searched the forum using the search bar on THF before posting.

If it's Windows 7 or earlier & they are plugged in to USB 3.0 ports:
