Mouse is Lagging HORRBLY in games.

So.. my razer abyssus is acting up. well, not really my mouse, but something's up wth my computer.

whenever i play a game, Civilization V, World of Tanks.. whatever.. my mouse lags beyond use. its like my mouse frame rate is 2 FPS even though i get 60+ FPS on all of my games.

and when i alt-tab to windows, even slower.
This started yesterday.... and i'm not sure why. my computer has been rock-solid for 10 Months.

I have tried uninstalling the drivers, reinstalling, messing with mouse sensitivity, DPI, and refresh rate.

if i use the mechanical switch on my mouse to change the poll rate from 1000 to 125, it helps but STILL lags.

WHAT is going on!?!? i can't game like this.

Hi,

Download msi afterburner and check the temps and GPU % usage while playing.
Also open task manager and look at what process is hogging the cpu.

If they are fine, you might want to scan for viruses (adwcleaner, malware bytes, rogue killer)
Also check you cpu temperatures and the health of your hard drive (hard disk sentinel trial)

Thanks for the reply. Oddly enough, I had fiddled with the double-click speed the other day. I set it back to normal and all of my problems were gone. That, and I turned off ultrapolling...
