Hi,
I have been using a zowie ec2c mouse for more than 2 years and could not say anything bad about it. Unfortunately, a few days ago I have noticed that sometimes when moving the mouse it seems to stutter for a short while and then it starts working again. This is not a problem with the computer because other mice work correctly. It is especially annoying when I play games but it also happens when browsing the Internet etc. What could be the problem, is it the sensor or more the cable? Is there any way I can find out and fix it or do I just have to replace the mouse with a new one?
Thanks in advance for your help

Well, I tried connecting it to my laptop and the mouse didn't stutter (at least for the 30 minutes I was using the laptop), so either it has something to do with the computer's os as you said or it just didn't happen at the time, which is also common (stuttering sometimes stops for a while).
Anyway, I'll list my specs, maybe it has something to do with them ( the most common problem in this computer is with the graphics card and drivers)
- ryzen 5 3600
-rx 5700 xt
-16 GB RAM
-b450 msi gaming plus max motherboard

MAYBE poor contacts at the socket where it plugs in. By moving it to another machine you will have changed that. Try this: back at the original machine, plug it in the same socket. The unplug and re-plug several times. IF there is dirt or oxidation on contacts this may "scrub" them clean.

Also, did you try cleaning the little window on the bottom of the mouse? AND the surface of any mouse pad you are using.
