Hello Friends
My PC is not detecting any type of mouse(seriel and ps/2 both). While starting it gives messege that ps/2 mouse can not be detected, you can safey use seriel mouse.but Seriel Mouse is not detected even.Solution needed..Please :(

What kind of keyboard and mouse are you using? Are they both PS2? make sure you pluged them into the right connection on you mobo. If you switch them your keyboard might work but not your mouse.
You might have a setting in the BIOS for PS2 support.

A serial mouse, sounds like you machine pre-dates Christmas ! :?

Since I don't know your OS, or system, here's an old article that might help :

http://www.pcguide.com/opt/opt/resCOM-c.html

It basically talks about IRQ assignments for various ports, which may conflict if not set up correctly. This may get your PS/2 mouse a life. It's a long shot, and for the life of me, I can barely remember using a serial mouse, even a PS/2 is starting to stretch it a bit.
