Question Mouse not working, can anyone help?

Hi All,

My mouse has been playing up in the following ways:

1. Does not scroll correctly - Sometimes I will scroll down and then it will quickly scroll up then down, or it just does the opposite of what I am trying to do.
2. Randomly freezes - I have to click several times and move it about before it wakes back up and then even then, it lags behind.

How would I diagnose this issue?

Think it could be one of the following:

1. Issue with my mouse
2. Issues with my drivers

Anything else?

Make and model mouse?

Start by downloading the applicable mouse drivers via the manufacturer's website.

Reinstall and reconfigure as needed.

If a battery powered mouse, try fresh batteries.

It is a Razer Naga that I have had since 2014.

Issue started around a year ago. And the mouse freezing has happened in the past week. I have all of the latest drivers and issue still persists.
