Mouse shuts off after a minute and needs to be reset constantly?

I just built a PC and everything is working completely fine but my mouse is giving me some problems. It is wireless, I switch it on and it works for 30 seconds to a minute and then it shuts off and the switch needs to be turned on and off again. I have tried all the USB ports and used a different wired mouse as well, same issue. I have installed all the drivers and everything is up to date. Any ideas as to what it could be?

check your device manager for any warnings. you may have a conflicing device or bad usb driver.
