Question Mouse Skipping. Tried All Basic Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,

I recently built a PC and I've run into an issue where my cursor skips like crazy. Not sure what to do but here are my specs and what I've tried so far.

PC Specs:
Mobo: z690 Aorus Pro
GPU: GIGABYTE RTX 3060 TI
CPU: I7-12700K
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32gb(16x2) 4800 mhz
SSD: Samsung Evo 970 m.2 1tb
Cooler: Corsair H100i Elite Capellix
Mouse: Logitech G602
Keyboard: Razor Huntsman? I forgot.

My motherboard does not post any error and everything else works perfectly fine.

What I've tried:
Update mouse drive
Uninstall driver and restart pc
Tried using different USB ports.
Tried using a different mouse, same issue.
Changed batteries in each mouse.
Tried using both mice on a new surface.

Would greatly appreciate any assistance with this.

Quick Update: Connected a wired mouse and i don't think the skipping is occurring. Would really like to fix this issue that seems to be related to bluetooth connectivity.

Was just about to ask if you tried a wired mouse.

Have you tried using the extension cable to bring the receiver closer?

Are there any other wireless usb dongles or usb sticks connected? I once had Microsoft wireless k/m dongle connected to front panel header which i had to move to the back because everytime i connected usb stick next to it it would cause, not just mouse to chug, but the computer as well.

Seems using extension cable fixed possibly similar issue here

Use Task Manager or Resource Monitor (use both but only one at a time) to observe system performance.

First when the mouse is skipping and then when there is no skipping.

Wired or wireless in as many different ways as you can. Change only one thing at a time.

Watch for what changes when the skipping occurs/begins.

Process Explorer (Microsoft, free) may prove helpful as well.

Objective being to discover if some system resource is faltering or otherwise being overwhelmed by the wireless mouse.

Keep an eye on what else is running. Could be some conflict.
