Mouse stopes then moves

Hello Experts:
After installing windows xp + +mp10 + sp2 on my computer, The mouse stops
and moves. Stops then moves.

Not only the mouse, it seems that all the computer get stuck for a sec then
work again. If I'm playing an mp3, the sound stucks for a second then work
again. This happen every 30 seconds.

Your help will be appreciated.

Sounds more like an application you are running is hanging on you. I
would check for viruses and adware using Ad-Aware from
www.lavasoftusa.com and www.antivirus.com . You may also want to press
Control+Alt+Delete and check the processes tab. Look and see what is
using most of the CPU as that will give a good indicator of what program
is freezing.
