mouse wheel issue

my mouse wheel no longer scrolls when i turn it, instead
it acts like the back button and goes to the previous
page. i am not running any programs for the mouse. i guess
the issue is how do you remap mouse buttons?

Hi,

Devices like this comes with additional softwares on CD to tweak the whole mouse and to map certian functions to the wheel etc.

if you have installed it then open it and see the settings for the wheel. It is not hard to find. If you havent done it, then instal it and then tweak with it untill u get the scrolling features back.

i installed the software but it did not correct the
problem. any other suggestions would be helpfull.
