How's it goin guys! Just got a couple of questions. I recently bought a new gaming tower that's coming in on Monday from Amazon and I've already built my own gaming rig before by myself with no help but moving these components to a new tower is sketching me out!!! To me moving the components from a box to the first tower was easy! But now I have to unscrew and detach everything and I'm afraid I'll damage the things I already have. Primarily the motherboard! I heard if your body contains static and you touch the motherboard that the static shock can short your mother board. So do you all have advice on how I can make moving these parts to the new tower a little easier and less nerve racking? I know this isn't rocket science but I've got a lot of money in this rig and if anything breaks I am majority screwed for a long while. Thanks guys!

Solution
Ground yourself by touching metal on the cases you are working on first.
Use a headlamp to make sure you see everything properly.
Plan what to do before doing it.
Don't force anything.
Take your time and breaks if you need to.

You can do it! 😉

I know I shouldn't force anything too much but the first time I put it together the RAM card and power supply input to the mother board were tough to fit in, I'm afraid if I force it this time something could snap! How tough is it supposed to be to attach the power supply cable to the motherboard. Or is mine just the exception?

Mine is easy to put in, but hard to take out 😛
It has to be put on perfectly straight, but wiggling side to side and back and forth helps when taking it off.
