hi,

i've put some files into a read-only folder, and now i cant move them back.

it says; 'an error occured applying attributes to the file:

.....

access is denied.

then i get the options ignore, ignoreall, retry and cancel. the files are
hidden, and i can change that either.

how do i get round this.

thanx

Did you just try moving them, or did you try to copy them?
You can usually copy any file whether it is read only or not.
