[SOLVED] Moving from HD to SSD

Hello I want to change my hard drive to ssd on my laptop, but I want to choose the right ssd.
My laptop in ASUS K550V and I am using it most for programming on it, now I am thinking about buying Samsung 2.5 860 QVO 1TB SATA3 and I want to ask if it's good or to recommend me something .

No, get eh 860Evo for about $10 more. It has 5 yr warranty instead of 3 and it writes large files much faster then the QVO.

Ok I have only one question what is better
Maximum SSD read speed or the Maximum SSD write speed,
becasue the MX500 has better Maximum SSD read speed and also the 860Evo which has got better Maximum SSD write speed.

The read and write speeds are so similar between those models that you won't notice any difference in real life.

One thing to consider is the endurance. MX500 1TB has 360 TBW (Terabytes written) compared to 600 TBW for the Samsung 860 Evo 1TB. So the Samsung feels like a safer bet.

Speed - In a blind test, defy anyone to tell the difference between the MX500 and the 860 EVO.

Endurance - 360TBW vs 600TBW is (mostly) irrelevant. You'll be years out of the warranty period before you get to 1/2 those numbers.
