First off here is my set up:

M5A99FX R2.0
FX-8320 @4.4 (Looking to go to 4.8)
Stock asus R9 280x (looking to crossfire)
8gb @1600 ripjaws
1000w coolermaster gold psu

I'm going to start with just the cpu in the loop then move to add the gpu and possibly sb and nb ( just for looks). Don't you guys have any basics that I should think about before starting this?

I will be displaying this as well so asthetics are important.

1. What size tubing?
2. Starter kit vs. Buying parts individually?
3. Fitting sizes?
4. Which liquid? (Would like
something something that stands out)
5. Single loop vs. Dual loop?
6. Possible case suggestions?
7. Single vs. Multi radiators?
8. Hard pipe vs. Tubing?

My budget is $1000. Any help would would be appreciated! Thanks in advance guys!

Solution
So you wrote many items of hardware for water cooling, but the case size first, space and planning first, one loop one size of case, dual loop another size of case, start with Coolermaster HAF series, Cosmo, and so.

After select the case, you start planning, one loop, one radiator, some blocks, tubbing and fittings.

Dual 3x120, 3x140 or 4x120 radiator, two loops, you need a big case. with your description I write a book here.
