Question Msconfig Stuck in selective startup

Hi, I noticed that in msconfig i am set to selective startup but when i switch to normal and restart it does not change. How do i fix this.

Do you have admin rights?

Did you uncheck the "Load system services" and the "Load startup items" boxes", select Normal Startup, and then "Apply"?

Key is get the Apply button active.

Going back a step: What is the reason for going to "Normal startup" vs "Selective startup"?

What problem or problems were occurring?

If there were no problems then just leave as "Selective".

my PC is on selective startup, to get the boot I created with BCedit, I need ( I believe I do anyway ) to change it to normal startup.....but whenever I select normal startup, i get a blue screen on restart....hopefully there is an easy solution.....thanks
P.S. was hoping to attach a screen shot but can’t see how 🤯Only get this if I change to normal startup in msconfig, left as selective and no problems
