I suppose it will support, if not then I'll be pissed
🙂 You'll find all
the information you need (including the manual) in the MSI website
(www.msi.com.tw), the 845Ultra is in the archives already. I'm fiddling with
the approximately same situation: I have an 845Ultra ARU, a Northwood
Celeron 2.0GHz, two 256MB sticks of Kingston ValueRam (DDR400), an ATI
8500LE and some random bits and pieces. I should be putting them all
together next seekend. And oh yes, I'll be overclocking the FSB to at least
133MHz (533 quad-pumped), the processor heat sink is a terribly heavy,
copper-hearted beast of unknown origin :->
Oh, I have a couple of questions about this, too. The MSI website tells the
max OFFICIALLY compatibe processors. But in practise, what kinds of CPU's
are you guys running and what are the settings? And what type of memory do
you use? I got, as previously stated, two 256MB sticks of Kingston DDR400
(CAS3) ValueRam, any problem experiences with them? Any other glitches,
except the infamous boot problem when overclocking?
