Msi 970 gaming motherboard wont work!!!!!

im having similar problems. im building a pc and with a msi 970 gaming motherboard, amd 6 core fx 6300, western 1tb, pny xlr8 750ti, 600w coolmax, 2x4gb patriot viper, and an LG disc drive. the problem im having is my hdd has windows 7 on it and from the previous computer it also has drivers from a different motherboard, so when i attempt to boot my system its just a black screen with a little 99 on bottom right corner somtimes it will go a2 to 99. ive tried waiting a good 10min nothing will happen, and ive tried entering the bios and it will say "entering setup" but nothing will happen. on msi website it suggest a faulty mobo or sata ports, ive rechecked the wires with manual 4 times, calmly and patiently, ive tried multiple sata ports the one stick ram or unpluging all components besides essential, nothing happens.

most likely the motherboard is faulty.
