MSI Afterburner Issues with Fan Speed

Recently I've been overclocking my Gigabyte GTX 1050 OC 2GB and all was well yesterday after running FireStrike and Heaven but for some reason today when I woke up and opened afterburner, the fan speed was set to 20%. Odd I thought, so I went into the advanced options for fan control and for some reason, the curve I had made was not there, infact, the Enable user defined software automatic fan control setting wasn't even ticked! I was absolutely sure I had made a curve. Even though that I made another curve just like the one I had made but nothing happened, it didn't ask me to restart afterburner and it didn't change the fan speed at all. So I restarted afterburner myself, and the setting was unticked again. I restarted my PC and there it was unticked so again, I made a fan curve. Again, nothing happened. Therefore I restarted afterburner and to my surprise nothing was changed, however the fan curve was still there so I restarted my PC and it's where I'm at right now, the fan curve is there but fan speed in the control part is manual and not according to my curve. I'd apprecciate any replies that could help me get to the bottom of this issue.

Well I'm an idiot... I guess I didn't realise I had to press the auto setting on the main menu in the fan part, cause I thought that would be the graphics card deciding how fast the fan should spin at but it actually used my curve. Oh well sorry if I wasted your time :/
