msi b350 tomahawk bios for ryzen 2600

So I bought a MSI b350 tomahawk today along with a ryzen 5 2600.
Both brand-new.
Do I need to update the bios on the motherboard BC I heard that 2nd gen ryzen needs a bios update on some motherboards and I don't have any other am4 socket CPUs.

Is a bios update necessary for boot?
