Hello guys,

Two days ago I installed my new MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX motherboard together with my new processor, the Ryzen 7 3600X. Everything works fine, but it takes a lot of time to get to the BIOS. When I turn my pc on, my keyboard lights up instantly. My screen stays black for ~1 minute, after that my keyboard shuts down and then immediately turns back on. 3 seconds after the keyboard gets turned on, I see the MSI logo to enter BIOS mode. My question is why it takes such a long time to get to the BIOS. I'm hoping you guys can help me out!

A year ago I didn't install windows properly, so also with my previous motherboard I had to manually select the right station to boot it up. If you have a solution for this, other than re-installing windows, I'd be happy to hear it too.

Solution
As Nighthawk says, when you change the motherboard you are supposed to re-install Windows as the existing Windows installation is now invalid as far as the hardware is concerned.
Thank you both for your quick answers, I will do that! I have both a HDD and SSD, obviously I want windows to be installed on my SSD but then I still have to manually select the HDD to boot it from. Is there any way I can let the boot work from my SSD instantly?
