Hey Guys,

Today I built a PC with the below specs.

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (with stock cooler)
MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX
Corsair Vengence LPX 3000 1x8GB
Cooler Master MWE 450 PSU
Corsair Carbide SPEC-05

After assembling the system won't post.

I tried flashing BIOS by connecting a flash drive with MSI.ROM file in it. Tried with the latest update (from MSI's website) and with older version of BIOS but still did not work.

The CPU LED on the motherboard lights up while flashing the BIOS and VGA LED lights up after the flashing is complete.

There is no POST or no display or boot screen after all the above.

Could this be a BIOS update issue or a bad motherboard?

Thank in advance.

What's your exact GPU? There's no mention of it. If you don't have a GPU, you'll never see anything with this configuration; you don't have integrated graphics.

You're also hindering your performance significantly by only using a single stick rather than using dual channel, but that won't be the problem here.
