Msi GeForce GTX 970 worth the $100 upgrade

Hey guys,
So I'm trying to make a new computer and I was thinking of putting the MSI GeForce GTX 970, but I kept thinking about it, and I don't know if a GTX 970 is worth $100 more than a MSI GeForce GTX 960. The games I want to play with my new pc are Ark Survival Evolved, Marvel Heroes 2015, SWTOR, and the new Star Wars Battlefront game. Is the GTX 970 too much for the games I will run and might stutter, or should I stick to the 960? I'm also tight on budget so I don't know if the 970 is worth an extra $100. I might play some other games, but I'm not a shooting fan (except for the star wars battlefront game, that I'm so hyped for) so do u think a GTX 960 should do?

Hi. Ark Survival Evolved requires a lot of VRAM, I would go for MSI GTX 970 because it would perform nicely in all games even in future ones. If you really want to enjoy your games on max settings and be happy with it in coming 3-4 years, then take this BEAUTY GTX 970.

But will it be too much for the other games? Can ark survival still run with a gtx 960 maybe on medium settings, I'm fine with that.

No it's not too much for other games. Yes you will be able to run all of your listed games.. unless you will want to max out graphics then it will suck a bit. Overall gtx 960 is not that good.. you see gtx 970 cost only 100 more but it performs like gtx 780 Ti or 2x gtx 960's. That is your decision if you are a regular gamer who sees no difference between Low and High graphics then take GTX 960.

GTX 970 is totally worth it's money. Yes, GTX 960 will run all new and future games no problem. I know that feeling when you want to upgrade your PC as fast as you can.. but if you have patience then add a bit more money to your budget and buy better ones.
