MSI GTX 970 Gaming fans spinning up at idle

I've noticed that the fans on my 970 Gaming spin up around every 30 seconds at idle. It's not a big deal as it's only for a split second and then they ramp down again, but I don't think they're supposed to do this. Temps seem to be hovering around 30 degrees, so nowhere near the 60 they are supposed to turn on at. I've updated my drivers to 364.72, but nothing has changed.

Any ideas?

Have you changed the temp/speed fan curve? Or it's on auto? If you changed it, put it on auto, or change it again to make it turn on at 50 or 60C

It's on auto. What's the best way to go about setting it to turn on at 60C? Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but when I set a custom fan curve in afterburner and have it at 0% up to 60C, the fans are on all the time.

Are you sure you have the line on 0% before the 60C? Or maybe it'll stay always on if it's on custom to avoid damage, but I highly doubt that

It's definitely on 0%, it won't go any lower. However, when I click 'apply', the fan speed bar says 25.
