MSI GTX 970 installation problem

Hey all!

I just installed my new GTX 970, and tried it out on games and it works great! The only problem is that when I start my PC, the screen stays on the MOBO bios for something like a minute, whilst before it showed up for maybe a second... Then it loads windows with no problems...

Any idea what might cause this, and how to solve it? Thanks!

Check to see if your BIOS is up to date. It most likely is not.

You could also try clearing your CMOS battery, just pop it out and back in. Of course, make sure your comp is off.

Should I use the latest drivers even though they are listed as Beta? MY BIOS is version F10, update 10th july 2012.

You could use the F18i patch, don't know why they would release beta drivers for a bios... Either that or the F16 patch. I'd probably download the F18i but that's just me.
