Hello everyone!

I bought this card like 2 weeks ago and i'm wondering if the idle temp is ok? Mostly running at 59C (idle), 75C max on load. The thing is that when i start my comp, temp on idle is 35-38 (fans off)..sometimes even after gaming the temp goes back to 37 or so...but mostly the temp on idle is like 58-59C.
Curently i have single 1920x1080 60hz monitor.
Thank you!

Use a GPU monitoring software to check the GPU's core voltage both when it's at 30C idle and when it's at 60C idle. Often GPUs have two "idle" states, one in which the GPU is doing basically nothing so it stays at 30C and a low usage state in which it bumps up its clocks and voltage a bit (but not to its full-usage state) so it runs hotter.

That is OK. New graphics cards don't use their fans below 60C. You can verify this by opening the computer while the card is at idle and the fans won't be spinning.

From their site...

"TWIN FROZR V – COOLER, QUIETER, AND BETTER GAMING
MSI’s Twin Frozr V uses Advanced Dispersion Blade design to generate 19% more airflow without increasing drag for supreme silent performance. Improve dissipation efficiency through special heatpipe layout. The GPU is cooled by a massive nickel-plated copper base plate connected to SuperSU Pipes (8mm heat pipes) on the MSI GAMING series graphics card. Additionally, the new heat pipe layout increases efficiency by reducing the length of unused heat pipe and a special SU-form design. The all new Airflow Control technology which guides more airflow directly onto the heat pipes by using special deflectors on the heat sink. In addition, this exclusive heat sink design increases heat sink surface area, greatly enhancing the dissipation efficiency. Moreover, the Zero Frozr technology eliminates fan noise in low-load situations by stopping the fans when they are not needed."

Thank you jkhoward. Yes i know about that..but still, for most as it seems, gpu runs around 30C on idle..i believe it is ok but today i haven't been gaming and for some time the temps were 35C..all i did was browsing the web and so on. After time it suddenly started rising again...also my score with unigine 4.0 valley is quite low it seems: i get 2327 or something at 1080p.
