I just upgraded from a 1030 to a 1650 S to maximize my msi mag271c 144hz monitor. I right clicked and went to display settings to change my 60 hz to 144hz. As I did that, my screen started shaking, made lines, stutter, and sometimes it would abnormally turn off then on. Also tried 100hz and 120hz but sadly it still has the same result. I am using a Display Port but also tried hdmi with no luck. Really need help :)

Solution
Another 144Hz monitor working fine tells the story. It's not your comp or cables. Can you replace the troubled monitor?

Monitor supports 144Hz via both Hdmi or DP. Could be driver related if cable shipped with the monitor isn't working correctly.

If haven't reinstalled drivers yet then try that and run the clean install option.

If that doesn't work, try Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). Install the program in normal Windows then run it in Windows safe mode to properly clean Nvidia drivers. Reboot afterwards and reinstall driver.
