A friend of mine asked my help about an upgrade and I'm afraid I wasn't much help,so I want to make it up to him.
He is thinking of buying a MSI Neo FIS2R mainboard and a Pentium 4 3.0Ghz Prescott processor and some good memories, because he has a MSI 6800Ultra on his actual computer(Intel mainboard with 2,53Ghz Pentium 4 and 768MB PC1066Mhz RIMM) and it is very, very slow! In Need 4 Speed Underground 2 he has only 26fps!!! Unreal Tournament 2004 has about 60fps...The first question would be why is it so slow, and the secod question is what would be the best cooling solution for a possible overclocking of the Pentium 4 from 3 to 3.6Ghz. I was thinking of the Thermalright XP-120,but I found out later that it's incompatible with the mainboard.
Thank you!
