Something tells me they might see even greater price reductions fairly soon. If AMD and Nvidia launch new, much faster graphics cards around the $350-$400 price range, then cards like the 5700XT and 2060 SUPER could potentially drop to under $300 in the coming months.

Wait until NVidia GeForce RTX3060 arrives, then all the graphic card prices will drop drastically and can pick up a nice one for much cheaper than current prices...

The exception might be if there's another mining craze or something, since it seems at least Nvidia's new cards offer a massive increase in compute performance relative to the increases in gaming performance. If that happens, you might not be able to find the new cards anywhere near retail price for much of the next year.
