I'm getting a DVI-D (+1) to VGA Adapter for my pc (msi rx 560 2gb gpu) and i want to know that, can the RX 560 support outputting analog over the DVI-D port ?

DVI-D only supports digital output, and doesn't even provide pins for analog, so a simple adapter that re-wires the pins from a DVI-I/DVI-A port to VGA won't work. As far as I know, none of the new graphics cards released in the last few years or so have the hardware to support analog output.

However, you can get an "active" converter that will convert the signal from a digital connection to analog VGA, which can be found on sites like Amazon for around $10 or so in the US. There are different ones for converting the signal from DVI-D, HDMI or DisplayPort.

You might want to first double check if your monitor happens to offer another port on the back to support one of the digital connections using a different cable though.

https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/produc...le-to-svga-db15-female-converter-m-f/12317184 this is the adapter i am using and. It says "DVI-D 24+1 Male To VGA 15 Pin Female Converter Adapter " But it also says "
* These adapters are used to connect a DVI-D output to VGA input, but the video card must support outputting analog over the DVI-D port. If it does not, then these adapters are useless.
*The Male DVI-D to Female VGA Adapter is designed for digital-to-analog converter machine only. And it can not change digital data to analog data directly."
So,i am kinda confused on this
