Hello,
I recently bought a new cpu ryzen 7 5800x to replace my defective ryzen 5 3600 and realized that I needed to do a flash bios update to mobo. I have left it on overnight and the usb is still flashing.
Steps I have taken:
I have read a bunch of articles that the flash should only take about 2hr at most.
should I turn it off or just leave it running?

Steps I have taken:
- Unplug from outlet and removed all components except for mobo and psu.
- Reset bios by removing cmos battery for 30mins and drain whatever voltage left in the system by holding on the power button for 15 seconds.
- Used usb 2.0 fat32 with the mobo latest bios and rename it MSI.ROM
- Input the usb in to the corresponding slot under the flash bios button.
- Push the flash bios button.
